S15: Road to Argynvostholt

General Summary

• In Wallaki, at Blue Water Inn, the party learns that there is a man, underling to Vargas Wallakovich the baronmeister of Wallaki that is torturing people in the name of the law. He should be dealt with, or at least he seems to be abusing his lawful powers to the extremes. Seemingly Vargas Wallakovich is aware, and might be in on it, as he is also very paranoid about everything lately. The name of this individual is Inznek Strani, he lives close to the city walls, and he has a burn mark on one side of his face, he is a big guy and has a red arm.
• Another issue within Wallaki is the rumors of Lady Wachter that is worshiping the devil, that she is making deals with Strahd von Zarovich, which does make a lot of sense since the invitation letter to dinner was coming from one of her henchmen. Nikolai Wachter and Karl Wachter are complain about her, but also are fighting Vargas Wallakovich because of some reasons, probably related to the same thing.
• Ains has a dream where he finds an amber door, on top of mountain with snow
• Party reaches the manor and begins exploration
• A dragon ghost comes from chimney and gives a warning: My knights have fallen into darkness. Save them if you can. Show them the light they have lost!” With that, the fire burns out.
• Hidden door reveals a wine room with an elf.
