S21: Stealth mission on Yester Hill

General Summary

• While half the party is preocupied at the Wizards of Wine, the other half makes a plan to move undercover and possibly retrieve the seed stolen by the druids unnoticed, but otherwise just scout Yester Hill .
• The two make their way through dense forest until an opening that reveals a lone hill, steep and covered in darker clouds than the rest of the gloomy sky. Big piles of suspicious rocks pile at every level, while the peak is walled by piles and piles of black rocks and in the center of it lies a statue that resembles Strahd von Zarovich made out of roots and wines.
• Reaching the top and polymorphing into a giant owl they manage to grab the green crystal that lie on top of the statue; however the moment that was grabbed and removed from it's place many druids got alerted and jumped from their hiding spot to hunt the intruders.
• Behind the statue and the hill lies an deathly tree that oozes blood with a shiny battleaxe stuck in it, and a skeleton under it. The small group decides to attempt to destroy the tree and retrieve the axe. Axe is indeed saved but the tree remains standing as it is too strong to be taken out easily.
• Being unable to blow up the evil tree, the small party retreats with just the gem/seed and makes their way back to meet the rest.
