Wormlings

Juvenile Rockworms, these lilac coloured shiny beauties are a miner's delight, as they consume rock at a fearsome pace and seem to scent out veins of minerals and ores.  The wormling colony in the pens is all the result of ting juveniles gathered by an expedition around a year ago.  What they grow into is unclear, as the city only has a stock of arms length and smaller wormlings at present.
Recently, it has been found that supplementing their diet with Red Diamonds shards doubles their growth rate, and several are now long enough (1m - 1.5m) to harness into mining rigs.
