Bugbear
Bugbears are a race of furry long-armed goblinoids. Living in small family pods, Bugbears were seen as forest and mountain monsters of the Northern areas of the First Island and the islands of the Northern Seas. Adventurers hunted them to near extinction in some areas, while others began using them as slave labor during times of conflict. Bugbears are generally introverted, preferring to sleep, eat vast amounts, and sleep again. When provoked, however, Bugbears are fearsome in battle both due to their innate ability to sneak and their vast reach which can best even the most seasoned of warriors.
