(a.k.a. The Bountiful Wave)

The Goddess of safe waters, of friendly sea-life (turtles, dolphins, whales, etc.), and of pirate hunters. She is the twin sister of Brizo and daughter of Agir and Mazu. She is one of the most commonly worshiped Goddess of Minrath, favored by fishermen, over-seas merchants, and those living in temperate coastal waters. She tolerates Tsovin but despises her brother Ahgaeon and has an outright hatred of Kuwaja.

Physical Description

Identifying Characteristics

Danua reveals herself to mortals in many ways, as a dancing dolphin, a shifting shoal of fish, the gentle lapping of the waves upon a beach. When she does take on an avatar the most commonly reported being seen as a woman with skin as richly dark as the depths themselves, with a crown of riches of the sea, and wrapped in water-like silk. In northern waters, she is more commonly seen as a massive whale-merwoman.
