Eowyen
Motherly, gentle, relentless, fearsome. All these describe the Goddess of the Everwood, the prime deity of Garthie. She gives life to the trees and shelters the life of the woods, her embrace is a soft bed of leaves for those who respect the forest and poison ivy for those who do not. Never anger the Goddess of the Everwood or else the creatures of the land from beast to plants to fey will rise up under her command to make you fertilizer for a new grove.
Outside of the Everwood Eowyen is seen as a fertility goddess. Primarily, she is worshiped by farmers and has a large following amongst Halflings. Due to this, some associate her with the hearth and home, with many praying to her to protect them from her wild beasts and at that same time that she enriches their fields.

Physical Description
Identifying Characteristics
Because Eowyen is worshiped in two different ways depending on her location there is some disagreement about her avatar. To the wood elves of the Everwood she is known as a nearly archfey-like wood elf and to the farmers she is often portrayed as a plumper halfling or human. In recent decades her portrayal seems to be a merging of the two as the Everwood slowly becomes more open to outsiders; now she often appears as a thick-bodied wood elf adorned in flowers and other plant life.
