Nassos Trading Company
This trading company is one of the most widespread and richest trade guilds in Minrath, their competition only being the Icewaters Traders. The Nassos Trading Company (NTC) controls the Southern waters and has maintained their power by setting up company-owned settlements on some resource-rich islands like the Hot Rock Islands. Hailing from the Princedom of Nassos in Eckril some say that the NTC holds more power than the Princes' and was able to influence the election of Prince Damali of Catalone in the most recent King's Election.
History
The NTC has been headed by the Maldova family since its origin. Currently headed by Cartia Maldova and Nox Maldova, who both took over after their father died 5 years ago as per his will. There are rumors among the Maldova servants that Nox is trying to push his sister out of the company. The Maldova family crest includes the golden eagle which has become the symbol of the NTC.
