Rudolph Van Ritchen

Legendary vampire slayer and monster hunter...at least in his own world. In Minrath his books were spread around after he arrived from Barovia and Tra Bril , but as an old man past his prime, he never reached the same fame as in Faerun. Even so, much of the same information on monsters in Faerun, Van Ritchen knew holds true on Minrath. While his books hold some renown in the monster hunting field - especially for those that hunt undead - it is unknown what happened to him. His books are nearly 300 years old, so it is assumed he died hunting a monster though some theorize that he returned to the Domains of Dread he speaks of in his books.
