Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Bastet is tall and lean.
Body Features
She is described as a panther with a human woman's torso, a feline head and a mane of what looks like feathers. Two thick strands of human-like hair hang down from near her ears. Her legs and feet are said to look like a cat's whereas her hands appear human, except for the long claws on her fingers.
Her skin is covered in short, black fur. Both her body and her face are marked with golden lines, and the area around her shows elaborate face paint in gold, blue and turquoise.
Special abilities
She is said to have magical powers, all of which are tied to the desert sand in some way. Most notably, people claim that she can shape it into creatures that she commands for a while.
Apparel & Accessories
She wears very little, probably because her fur is more than enough coverage in the desert heat.
The most notable piece of clothing is a loincloth of thin, white fabric that is attached to a decorative belt. Two broad strips of the same fabric are stretched over golden frames that wrap around her hips. Pauldrons of similar design are attached to a massive collar piece, and she wears golden bracers.
Besides that, she wears numerous pieces of jewelry such as earrings and bangles. Like the belt and collarpiece, they appear to be made from gold and have inlays of red, blue and turquoise gems.

Personal history
It is unknown where Bastet comes from or what exactly her species is. While animal-like humanoids exist on Miragia, there are no records of feline ones. It is also unlikely that she traveled all the way from the northern lands where Speciesshifters are commonplace.
Employment
Rumors say that she spent some time working for the Royal Family of Norume, but fell from grace for unknown reasons. People believe that she is honing her skills out in the desert until she will be able to assemble her own army and take revenge.
