Fate

Many would like to think that they are in control of their fates and the sole master of their destiny, and to some degree, they are correct. Fate in Mirateia is, for most races, left to the individual on the more local plan, but the gods do tend to stick their fingers into the mix if they find it worth their energy.   In the plane of the gods. There exists a building, rather humble, all things considered. The building is small with a shallow dome as a roof, no windows and an oval main building with a small entrance sticking out from the side of the oval shape. Moving inside, one would be in complete darkness had it not been for the soft blue light emanating from the strings of fate that fills the main room of the building.   In the middle of all the strings, the keeper of fate stands. Their job is to keep the strings in order and, in most cases, ensure that the gods do not interfere in the future of the mortals more than necessary.   While the keeper of fate tries to keep the gods out of their house, some gods have a better relationship with the fate keeper than others, gods such as Lady of the Dark although new goddess Mara had a special relationship with the place due to the workings on the Blessing of Mara which as the name suggests, were connected to the goddess and in some way or another were connected to the fate of those blessed with the blessing, although no one really understands how it does, even the gods.
