Placeholder Inn

The Placeholder Inn is a inn located in Pearlhal on the western side of the university ward for the Copa University.
The inn is a favoured spot for the students of the university and it's common for the students to go to the inn throughout the day to get dinner or just to have a break and have a conversation. 
While the inn does offer a room for travellers to rent, most of the rooms are rented by students who might come from out of town and requires a place in Pearlhal to sleep, the innkeeper Elrorm is an old student of the university so he keeps the rent at the minimum so that the students have chance to rent it.

Architecture

The inn consists of a single-storey timber and brick building, with high ceilings. It is exceptionally clean, as a result of the innkeeper's obsessiveness with cleanness and the inn is well lit by a large iron chandelier. Accommodations in the inn consist of several large rooms and small with beds and straw mattresses and several tables in the common room.

Defenses

Elrorm the innkeeper keep a small crossbow along with a wooden club behind the bar.

History

The History behind the name of the inn is that when Elrorm brought the place several decades earlier, he was in need of a name but at the time he could not come up with a catchy name for the inn so when talking to a friend over a mug of ale he jokingly said he would just put up a sign with "Placeholder Inn" until he could come up with a better name, unknown to Elrorm the inn would several decades later still be called Placeholder Inn because it had now become a part of the local neighbourhood.
