Week 1
For this World Ember, I'm hoping that I can spread out the worldbuilding a bit and expand on some of the nations outside the
Empire of Dercia but I'm planning on doing this every event, like World Ember or Summer Camp and yet I always end up with several new articles for the Dercian Empire while maybe only having a single one for the vast expanse outside the empire.
But to roughly sum up the most likely area I'm going to write in, The Empire of Dercia is the largest nation on the continent of Mirateia and for the last 160 years it has maintained some levels of peace in its surrounding nations, throughout history, it has been known to welcome those fleeing from other nations, many of these have been elves which have resulted in the Empire having the largest population of elves anywhere in Mirateia.
I might also expand a bit on the
Tales around Mirateia story I have going. there are some characters that can use an article or two.
Week 2
Categories: My categories are not perfect and I will admit that they are going to need some work, but it's not something I want to be bothered with before or under World Ember, as it is something that is likely going to take more time to get to a satisfying state than what I have.
Inspiration: I admit that I dont get much inspiration from other worlds in WA, I simply dont look at them enough, but also because most of those I do follow are using so advanced CSS and other dark magic that I have no hope of using that.... but if I should say something about inspiration it would probably be that most of the events that take place in Mirateia are inspired by the real world, as someone who studies history and with an interest in the ancient Rome it's easy to find something that can world as inspiration for my worldbuilding.
Week 3
I sort of mentioned this above, in weeks 2 and 1, but with my current skills in the dark arts of CSS, the homepage is as good as it gets, some of the categories could use some work but I simply dont have the patience for that, plus I dont get that many readers that I find it worth the effort.
Week 4
Prep for World Ember? whats that? This homework is the most I'm going to prep for it. I dont normally need prep time for these events, I normally just sit down and write an article about some inspiration that hit me or if I have read about an interesting historical event that I think could work for Mirateia with some twists.
