Bella Rael
The elf-adventurer-turned-upstanding-citizen known as Bella Rael is a weapons and armor smith and a owner of a strip club. She was once an adventurer, but retired after the Vampire of the Llane Woods, down within The Free Cities of Theros, murdered many of her companions leaving only six to tell the tale.
Bella relishes being in the know and playing the sardonic, world-wise observer. In truth she is a lively socialite who sponsors, manipulates, and goads others into attempting incredible feats of burglary and infiltration and into furthering the elf’s age-old rivalries with other retired thieves. Bella makes and takes bets on the outcomes of lawless activities, and she covertly invests in goods that she knows will experience near term shortages. These wagers and schemes provide her with the income to support two highly profitable business.
The former adventurer enjoys playing puppet master just as much as, if not more than, she delights in executing her own escapades. What some call manipulation, she calls guidance. Everything she does is geared toward his own amusement and profit. she befriends and shamelessly manipulates adventurers, which is not necessarily a bad thing for them, since Bella provides tremendous aid to friends who find themselves in trouble in Lookshy.
