Journal Entry #12 - The Journal of Flaik Fortearan 4717-12-15
General Summary
Talked to Wilbur in jail and then convinced him on the road that we should stick together as godlings
Message to HQ: On route to Kasr. Happened across another godling on our journey (who, actually, is responsible for the shenanigans at the Auria gates today).
His name is Wilbur Cobb, and he appears to be a godling of nature or growth. He knows of the Arculyte Order and has agreed to travel alongside us for the immediate future. If this is a good idea or a terrible idea is left to be seen.
He is very irrespective of the laws of the city. I assume this is due to his training as a druid, but he may just be a natural asshole.
He raises an interesting question, though; with the ascension of godlings (for good or ill I am not prepared to determine), what form should justice take between godlings who will not tolerate each others’ existence? If we ever grow too strong to be contained by the martial prowess of the nine’s nations, whose responsibility is it to keep us following a common moral authority? Perhaps this is too much speculation, however, I wish to report this as evidence that these questions also weigh on our minds.(edited)
We stopped at the common rest stop one day travel outside of Auria on the western road out of town. Haderai has decided to attempt to hunt for provisions while we are still out of the range of the mountains.
