Journal Entry #8 - The Journal of Flaik Fortearan 4717-12-13

General Summary

The demon that arose from the speaker’s blood asked Rita to join him, she declined, he died and his voice sounded like coins falling. Then the Nine walked in. They asked about the Guildmistress, and in Celestial told the Modrons to get her.
Haderai and Flaik then responded in Celestial, which then caused a minor freakout. Agrellis Kisk, a Namine Businessman, asks us questions. Who we are, how we got our god powers, etc.
Zariel comes over to relieve Agrells of the interrogation. Ali tries lying. It doesn’t go well.
Our guild mistress arrives. The main guard accuses her of bringing her people here who brought the voidspawn. She denies it.
They update us on the Kasr situation. Then the guard busts in and say the six void towers have all fallen and magic is now seeping into the land, unfiltered.
Much discussion and explanation. Ali and Koa have a secret to share. Flaik transfers knowledge of the five gods to Zariel, as well as knowledge of the Monocle’d Gentleman and his visit in the Magnimar jail.
They ask us to help with Kasr’s civil war situation. We agree. They say that since the void towers are down transportation is.. slow. They can provide us means of transportation back to the mainland. Mamund Agrellis says he has some contacts for us to aid us in our cross-country journey. We’ll also have this treated as an official Guild Request.
Ali detects another life form outside of the auditorium, and we investigate. A guard walks towards Ali and calls her the Avastin. She has tribal markings flare up and grows wings. She then stops and kneels in front of Ali. She says in Celestial: “My Avasin.” (The first one, or the highest of us). “My name is Asha. I felt your presence when you came upon the island. What will you have of me?” Asha then agrees to follow Ali around. We all go back to the Inn.
Ali talks to Asha, Haderai summons a spirit owlbear, and Koa and Rita drink because the morning was so stressful.
Flaik investigates the hourglass sucking up their knowledge to no avail. Apparently Haderai is starting a zoo, because he now has two dream owlbears tapdancing on the bar table. He then talks to the Guildmistress, and she discusses the origin of magic, essence, and illusion magic.
Haderai also then asks about going back to the tailor and asking for a regular set of leathers.
