Session Notes # 18

General Summary

4717-13-6 5:36 pm   The fight with the crystaline snake things moving forward to engage the group while the group moved to engage the creatures. The curious ability of the sapphire snakes rooted both Jurgen and Philip in place with their scintillating colors and patterns. Slowly foot by foot the group made their way into the chamber a combat that looked dire at the outset proved to be slightly challenging. A heavily wounded Philip removed healing potion with the intention to restore his wounds only to find the it was a poisoned potion. As the battled wound down that group was faced with the possibility that he might die from the effects of the poison. The group tried as they could to find a solution for the poison, but none could be found. Thankfully the healing applied by Koa managed to keep him alive long enough for the poison to run it's course. With the creatures slain and the threat of Philips poison taken care of, the group moved towards the white gate within the chamber. Walking with confidence towards the white gate that would lead them to the next step in finding Imbralym. At the gate both keys possessed by Koa and Philip would not give passage to the group, thoughts of the prisoners whom they told of the guard house and the key that they had in their possession quickly came to mind. The thoughts of that creature that still remained in the Guard House and the possible fate of the prisoners is a matter that will need to be dealt with if they ever wanted to rest in some form of comfort. With this passage blocked for now the group headed deeper into the glowing green chamber. Hundreds of unblinking eyes stare into this room from long walls of glistening green stone. The floor of this chamber is covered with viscous slime that drips from four stalagmites. Through some quick test by both Philip and Flaik the floor while thick was not acidic. It would prove deep enough to hinder the groups movement through the chamber.   Across the chamber the group spotted a strange multi armed creature with a single eye at its center. A voice spoke to the group referring to them as possible food. Unable to let them pass without issue due to its masters watching the group was forced to fight if they wanted to go farther. Koa loosed a bolt from her crossbow and it sunk into its target. As the group readied for combat Koa and Philips gaze scanned the room to see the true source of the voice that spoke to them. A pinkish purple blob with multi eye tentacles and a single eye at it's core.

  1. Explore the Dread Hold and deal as much damage to the Ilithids as possible.
  2. Find Imbralym Skoond
  3. Learn how to access the Elder Brain Chamber, destroy it, and escape with Imbralyn.

  4. Rescue Imbraylm Skoond
  5. Kill the Elder Brain
