Session notes # 3 4717-13-3

General Summary

After having snuck through the town of Black Rock the party finds themselves in the final chamber of the transportation center for the DreadHold Prison. They managed to sneak to within striking distance of the otherworldly creature. Before their blades could find the neck of the creature they where interrupted when two of the gray dwarves entered the chamber on leashes four of the strange quadruped brains. The encounter lasted close to a minute during that time many members of the party were brought close to the point of death. Hadarai actually fell during the encounter. Once the battle had been won the problem of the townsfolk trapped in the strange psychic wards remained. Rita destroyed the connection between the psychic prisons and the defensive structure in the center of the room. This led to the wards building in power with every life lost. Acting quickly a revived Hadarai managed to free one member from its prison by briefly dispelling the wards, and with an entire pouch of Dust of disenchantment the other townsfolk were saved and the building, energy dissipated.
With the psychic prisons down the townsfolk were able to escape. While going over their surroundings a voice rang out through the chamber.
It was the voice of a docent for the Dreadhold she informs the party that her name is Syranna Kithollal. She did not know of an Imbralym skoond, but Koa found documentation that indicated she was taken to the prison prior to the prison becoming engulfed by the Aether Void. Syranna told the party that she would not be able to take them to the prison directly but she could send them to the old visitor’s entrance
The party decides to take a long rest to recover from their fight in the room. Hadarai created a stone bar in front of the door to impede entry while they rested, and Koa cast Leomund’s Tiny Hut for an additional bit of safety.
