A pillar of the kingdom and culture

An Elder is the highest rank for order in the culture of the Sojourners of Light. The Traveling Cross scattered all over Miria have very few Elders and as it stand now, the eldest is Lionel Winestone. To attain such a rank is to be lifted up as one, chosen by the Bright One.

Qualifications

This is the checklist of a good shepherd's hospitality to the Bright One's kin-souls:

• He or she must be blameless in the sight of the Bright One

• A husband to a wife or a wife to a husband

• Children of unyielding faith and blameless of rebellion

Requirements

• Having a close relationship with the Bright One

• Full of wisdom which is valued to lead and have authority

• Exercising good responsibility

• An age capable of marriage and having children

Appointment

The Bright One determines the path of everyone, including Elders.

Duties

Taking care of those he or she comes into contact with during and between travels. First the faithful, then those who don't know the Bright one. This responsibility can take many forms:

• Helping orphans

• Giving charity

• Leading a party against abominations

• Speaking about or warning about spiritual seasons or weather

Benefits

If one follows the Bright One, they have all they need. Even if that means traveling without crystal coin, but that takes great faith.

Accoutrements & Equipment

One must be equipt with the Radiant King's Armour.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

If he or she does something immoral which is more than stumbling, and does not ask for forgiveness from the Bright One, they will be removed from the position He gave to them. Their journey fulfilled and go through death's door.
