Fountain of Life
The water from the rock that is located in the Heart of the World, its round about waterfall has been rumoured to give one their youth back after consumption.
Historical Basis
Written in historic literature many authors had believed in the myth or legend of the Fountain of Life. If anything ailed in a person they are led to a certain spring or waterfall in a specific place and told to drink the water there. If an aged person was near death and consumed the conents, it could make them young again. If one were poisoned it could heal them completely, along with anything else that makes one ill.
However, these are of course just speculation and no acutal proof has been found in these stories or claims - as no one knows about the specific locations; or it is simply impossible to reach like the Heart of Reflection.
Spread
The many stories plublished make for great story telling of hope in dire times of need and strength. This story in particular is widely known and some have braved to venture for its properties.
Variations & Mutation
Not only written in books, but also a song has been made, however its music has been lost to the world over time. Before people could write it was the Faebles that were able to both sing and convey its meaning through spirit magic.
Cultural Reception
Though it is widely known for the hope that is written about, there are some who have perverted or twisted it into something dreadful and fearful.
In Literature
Some say people have been so enamoured by its mystery that they have set out on a journey, rather obsessively or as if they have been bewitched by the stories, only to never be seen again. Could it be that the other side of the story is true?
