With durable steel raised and wooden handle in hand, Tauren Laurel sends thunders upon a bright and hot glowing billet. A deep blue towel damp with sweat is wrapped around his head. His moonlight eyes concentrating on the object's formation and reflection of the frozen state of flared metal stared back at him.

Bull and Horns Forge

Rhythmic beats of thunder sound within a building known as the Bull and Horns forge. A chunk of misshapen, yellow-hot metal lay on a cold steel anvil as Tauren hammers his work. An intensity sparked a flame in his moonlit eyes and focus waged war against a flood of images from a recent incident that took place. He beat them away like impurities in metal, blow after blow trying to forget what he cannot deny.

Slowly and surely the deformed piece of metal takes its true shape. In an exhausting and wonderful process it is strengthened in care and patience. Adding final touches to the short sword with acid etching and detailed leather work for the handle, his work ends and begins again anew.

Friends

Not being liked by many, he does have one friend that he is currently helping. Joshilyn has a deep desire to get accepted into the Law of Legacy and become a Legacy Hunter, and he wants Tauren to join him. However, Tauren has a job with many custom listings on hold with his forging tools and weapons. Not to mention he needs to make a trip to Roaenia and sell there. As his friend, Joshilyn has agreed to accompany him there and practice his skills as an abomination fighter.

Personal history

Since childhood, Tauren Laurel has been fascinated with the tools of trade and, his all time favourite, fire. From a young age he was mentored and taught by an old man who openly forged close by the road to the market where potential customers passed by, either on foot or vehicle.

The motto of his teacher was this:

Beat out the lies, which are impurities. Forge the metal of its true shape, refined by fire.

Old Brim

Tauren has lived by this and chiseled the phrase upon the wall of Bull and Horns Forge in tribute to Old Brim.
