The wind blows ever gently playing with Zara's deep charcoal strands of hair. Neatly separated braids paraded around her head as the cool breeze wisp loose hair closer to her pale face. Placing a hand to her face she lightly brushes the silky webs away from her eyes. Watchful winter blue eyes scour the land for possible threats to the Mother Tree and the kingdom city as she stands on her outstretched branch. As the mother tree transforms her leaves into various shades, so too does the light armour she wears causing difficulty for onlookers to spot, save her own party of the Guarden Keepers. Holding in her right hand a gleaming sickle staff, positioned at the ready for anything the wind may tell her.

Heritage and Background

Not much is known about Zara Cassan except she was born and raised in Meinland. Only a touch of her heritage is known from a fictional book someone wrote with her consent, signed inside the last page of The Guarden Water of War. However, under the condition that one would not disclose her likeness.

Born of Yumah, the Guarden stands strong as Valkyrie, summoning a great wind from her spear and cutting down her enemies as they come near. Born of Elva, she swims to flee from her enemies with the help of Keilo at her side, the water horse she tamed to prove herself of the family line.

Friends

Her closest friend is Faeila Lael, Roaenia's Songstress. Although still considered a new recruit, Faeila and herself still retain a sisterhood stemming from their childhood.

Entanglement

When Zara was an elementary child her mother rid all contact from Faeila as she deemed her as dangerous. Sad and confused, Zara made it her mission to become recognized as a Guarden Keeper in hopes to one day see her childhood friend again. Now they have reunited and a new struggle is introduced as Zara notices one of the Krystal Knights becoming too close with Faeila and notices the plea in her eyes.

Religious Views

As a child something about the invisible peaked her interest of things not understood. She would follow inclinations like directions not knowing where her destination led her, yet she would always arrive at the right time. Perhaps to witness something unusual, dangerous, or simply to help another. Years down the path of strange occurrences, she came into the company of the Traveling Temple, where the Bright One resides. From them she learned the Lighted Path.
