Nikkal

The Isles of Nikkal

Overview

The isles of Nikkal are a series of islands located on the equator, renowned for the strange inhabitants and unique geography.

Geography

The isles of Nikkal are known for being home to a variety of underwater vents and volcanoes that have caused the isles to grow, with at least two new smaller isles or atolls appearing in the sea around the isles every year. These isles often merge and become larger, or sink once more when an earthrend strikes the region.

Isle of Tkappa

The isle of Tkappa is the largest of the four great isles, being largely a jungle with a great volcano rising from the center of it.

Isle of Sagyan

The isle of Sagyan is one of the smaller of the four great isles, being located to the west of the isle of Tkappa. It is largely a hilly isle with small tropical trees dotting the grassy fields. The isle at its center was once a volcano that collapsed, leading to the largest hill Mt. Sagyan.

Isle of Manakul

The Isle of Manakul is the great isle south of Tkappa. It is known for being home to a great pit that goes deep into the earth, in which there are a variety of flooded caverns filled with crystals and gems. It is said that this cavern once excreted magma, but has not done so for many years. The isle has a very large sand beach on the north side, where a few villages lie.

Isle of Sunnut

The isle of Sunnut is the great isle south of Manakul. It is home to an active volcano that is ever producing more and more lava, leaving it to be home to some forests but primarily barren rocky beaches and plains due to the constant lava flows.
