Sissho Kimura an Ilsuren
Overview
History
Early Childhood
Sissho Kimura an Ilsuren was born to a monastic family in the Alsivai peninsula, that had extensive ties in the government of the Alsivai Monastic Confederation, known in short as Daesi. He was born in a small village along lake Ilusirn, where his family holds power (and received its name from). In his family, he was the second child of four. He was a talented baby in the magic of water and restoration, causing his family to take great interest in him. This caused him to be sent to a warrior monastery by the capital at the age of 5, where he began to study magic more in depth. He did this for four years, returning to his family during the harvests and sowing seasons. As he was age nine, the Alsivai kingdoms were declared war on by the Kirrentai alligned Tsurassi alliance, and it was here that his family took up arms and his brothers marched to war. The oldest died in the Siege of Tsurassi city while the second oldest was left lame after his leg was cut open, leaving Sissho as a potential heir to the Daesi. While the Daesi won the siege and disbanded the alliance, any gains were pyrrhic and there were no real gains.Later Childhood
In the aftermath, Sissho was trained as a potential heir and studied politics in the growing city of Alsiveanna. In the following years he traveled to Immestrai and to Ishkerr to study, where he met the young lord Sivirri and pledged his support to supporting the dreams of the prince. His brother recovered well enough to rule, and so Sissho stayed studying at the monastery while his brother trained to rule. In a few years he would return home, continuing his studies at his family's town of Kivilais. In Kivilais, he was renowned as a quiet but effective official when he was employed with the city watch and town council. It was during his council years, that he drafted the Zissenza with Sivirri over their letters and visits with each other.Teenage Years
Sissho saw the Alsivai Daesi engage in warfare with the realm of Kizhaval, with him being put in charge of a small army and tasked with marching through the dense forests to hit the city of Mohan. Sissho gained valuable experience in his engagements, reaching the city and besieging it. He took the city after a week, and the northern holds of the realm fell soon after. During the battles, he employed a variety of deception from ambushes to baiting the enemy into favorable terrain. This experience caused him to gain an interest in warfare, and he began to travel around west, shadowing commanders to learn from them. When the civil war in Ischurrai broke out, Sissho gathered what men he could from Ilsuren and traveled to the country by sea, arriving in Lileanen with an army of around 400 men from Immestrai and Alsivai. He saw lord Sivirri arrive home, and began to assist him in rallying a new army to defend the kingdom from the invaders of the northern league.
