Spurred on by Erebus, a fallen nalhesh, mages pervert the magic they had been given.
Many viela wished for more than what Aliethia had given them. This large group found an ally in the nalhesh, Erebus. He put forward a plan for defeating their creators, believing themselves to be greater. Because of their free will, the viela were able to twist the magic given to them. These mages told the other races of this “new magic” who listened and joined them. In deliberately disobeying the Chaimor, evil entered the world, separating Mirizel from the perfect Lights.
