Follow the One with One Eye Report

General Summary

1489 DR - Spring - 18, Kythorn (6) - Sword Coast, Waterdeep, Blasingdell, Khundrukar

• -While waiting in the Yawning portal, Huden is drawn to the broken Bane relic. It appears as a black sun and speaks: "Find the One with One Eye"
• -The crew explores the tavern to find a representative of The Xanathar (with a one eyed tunic) enlisting adventurers, the crew intimidates them away and offers to take the job instead.
• -The Representative asks that the crew travel to Khunrdrukar near Blasingdell and retrieve swords crafted by Durgeddin the Dwarfen lord on the forge of fury as they are of particular quality and value.
• -The crew travels to Blasingdell and talks with the townfolk, meeting the halforc commander and being informed that there is a valuable bounty on dead orcs as they have been raiding the farms around the village.
• -The crew travels 3 days to the fortress and spies on the entrance a while (with Fallen exploring the peaks). The see orcs enter in the front and decide to search for another way in. Theey discover a hidden cave and enter the lower hall.
• -Once in the dark, it begins to speak to Damien, telling him to "Find it, Destroy it" but it's not clear whether this is an IT, two its, a different it, or what it is... Huden hears whispers from his book, but isn't able to understand them. Fallen gets a feeling of dread from below the black lake. Lucyan hears warnings from the bugs under his clothes that this area is dangerous.
• -The crew is ambushed by Trogolodytes, sneaking and smelling in the dark, as they attempt to sick their pet Bear on the crew, only to have their trap gate closed and be slaughtered.
• -The crew travels through the cave only to come upon nesting Stirges, who drain the teams blood before being swatted into oblivion.
• -Traveling up into the back entrance, the crew finds themselves in the old dwarven fortress. They disable and re-enable a trap on the wall and enter through the locked rear door.
• -They come upon a shaman studying, who alone makes for easy prey.
• -Damien unleashes his ability to travel through shadow
• -The crew moves toward the entrance, finding the orc barracks and bunks, and slaying additional soldiers.
• -Fallen reveals his ability to drain essence into the pit of Zaltec through his iron grips, removing the life from dying orcs.
• -The crew hides in the barracks to try and recover briefly before continuing.

Treasures from the lower hall and living quarters of the orcs.
