Garen Destarin

High Commander of the Zhentilar, Dragon Disciple of Tiamat, Hellshaper of Phlegethos Garen Destarin

Inheriting the strength and fury side of the family, if not all of the guile and tact, Garen Destarin, firstborn son of Khelden Destarin and the former cult mistress of Tiamat, is a formidable military commander, clever strategist, and combat powerhouse. His exploits have included leading many successful campaigns against the realms as the Military commander for the Zhentilar army of the Black Hand in the name of Bane. He has also founded numerous experimental combat tactics alongside his many secretive allies that have helped him maintain an upperhand in rivalries with The Red Wizards, Halruuans, Netherese, Waterdeep, and other forces across the realms.
He also commands the full mercenary expeditionary force for Zhentil Keep personally, that is often hired by would be kings for the small price of annexation after a successful campaign.
He exhibits some dragon traits of the blue and black variety, with scaly skin and an imposing 8 foot stature, including the breath weapons, claws, and cruel demeanor of chromatic dragons. He wields a variety of weapons crafted from demonic obsidian forged in the flame forges of Phlegethos, sometimes including the enslaved intelligent demonic obsidian trident, Tresser, which was passed down by his father who took it from the dead hands of a greater demon.
