Stabby Dice is a dice-based bluffing game with simple rules. Players roll a pair of dice under a cup and call out the total. The total they call out must be higher than the previous player's total. If it's not, they must lie. The other players may call their bluff. If a bluff is succesfully called, the player who called the bluff gets one free stab on the bluffer. If they called a bluff and the player was telling the truth, then the player telling the truth gets a free stab on the bluffer. If the stab hits, the hit player is out of the round. This continues until there is one player left, who wins the round (and the wager). If a player rolls (or successfully bluffs about) double sixes, they win the round. The value being rolled for resets after a stab attempt, whether or not it hits. These particular, in-universe rules are below the resolution of the D&D game mechanics, however.
Game Mechanics
All players roll their Games (Dice) roll. They don’t add modifiers except proficiency modifiers if they are proficient in Games (Dice). Whoever rolled the lowest (using modifier to break ties - higher modifier is considered to have a higher roll - or a roll-off if there is still a tie) has to roll a Deception check. All other players roll Insight.
Whoever rolled the highest Insight (with Wis modifier breaking ties) that beats the Deception check gets to make one Attack on the player who bluffed. If they hit it does normal damage, and the hit player is out of the round. If they miss - or if the bluffing player beat the other players’ Insight - that player is still in. All remaining players roll their Games (Dice) once more and the process starts over.
Once there is only one player left who has not been stabbed for the round, they win whatever wager had been made.
