The Liberation of Sackurb

The Liberation of Sackurb occurred around two or three thousand years ago after King Ogden and his giants captured the city of Sackurb. T'lula'taku and Jefferson, the Aleated Ceraclops were traveling the world at the time collecting treasures when they came upon this city. When they found out what was happening, they fought against the giants to liberate the city.
Once victorious, the Aleated Ceraclops wanted to enslave the city for themselves, but T'lula'taku was horrified at this. this is the major cause of the rift that occurred between them, as recorded in The Love story of T'lula'taku and the Aleated Ceraclops.

The Conflict

Prelude

Giants led by King Ogden captured the city.

Deployment

T'lula'taku, Our Lady of Despair and Jefferson, the Aleated Ceraclops happened upon the city and attacked the giants once they figured out what was going on. Other than a brief retreat to discuss what they should do, the only deployment was 'fly in, spells and breath weapons blazing'.

Battlefield

The city of Sackurb itself was the battlefield. Due to the circumstances, they couldn't employ siege or indiscriminate burning. In order to reduce collateral damage due to the civilians they were trying to save, T'lula'taku and the Aleated Ceraclops had to employ more guerilla tactics.

Outcome

With some damage done to the city, the people had to rebuild. Unfortunately due to the Aleated Ceraclops' plan to simply keep the city for himself and T'lula'taku, neither of them assisted in the rebuilding. Although T'lula'taku vehemently opposed the Aleated Ceraclops, she left the area to ensure that he would pursue her instead of continuing his plan to enslave the city.

Aftermath

After rebuilding, the city was renamed Giantsban, in commemoration of the time that the giants were defeated and driven out of the city.
