Tiki's Tower

Tiki was kept in a tower for the early part of her life, with only books for friends. Although well-read, she longed to get out and make new, non-paper-based friends. This history accounts for a large part of why she is more well-read than common-sensed, as there is only so much one can learn from books.
The Tower was an abandoned wizard's tower, hence being filled with books. Her captors stashed her there because it was easily defensible (and they needed to make sure that she couldn't get out as much as keeping everyone else from getting in). She was held for ransom after the criminals slayed her mother (a Silver Dragon herself). Her father, a mostly Human Dragonborn never showed up. It is likely, owing to his mostly-human heritage, that he has passed away since then.
Given a dragonborn's life expectancy, the bandits eventually died. With no one to maintain defenses, it was then easy for Tiki to leave the tower. Eventually, she met up with Sam Fatts' Crew.
