The Pearl snail
The pearl snail is a small animal, that needs an outer shell that protects them against predators. Every year they leave their old one behind and grow a new and bigger one. This little animal, spends its whole life 5 to 6 years to grow a new shell and to procreate. After those 5 to 6 years they pass away leaving again their shell behind.
