The silk spiders are little red beasties, that live in holes. The spider spins its burrow their home with silk, of course people are not going into the wild to look for the burrows. So that is why they keep these spiders, like they keep bees. They wait until the spiders go out for the hunt, and they take out the silk.
They bath the silk in cold water, so that the scent of the spider washes away. After that they color the silk with nature friendly dye.
The fabric needs to bathe in the dye for 1 week. Then the fabric can be used for clothing.
