Dear Cilalk’schiluhsche,
It delights me to hear that you’ve been enjoying your first month on Mirthae, even with those pesky surface dwellers breathing down your neck. I do happen to actually know what went down when Lady Merthicz talked to Erebos, as we were in the middle of a meeting when she appeared to us to discuss Mirthae.
As Erebos was telling me, it was afraid for your people’s wellbeing. Attacks against it’s settlements have increased since the newest Supreme Lord took over, and seems to have some kind of vendetta against Erebos itself for daring to continue playing God. Apparently Lady Merthicz had been trying to talk with the Supreme Lord to compromise, but she wouldn’t hear anything Lady Merthicz had to say! From how she described it, the Supreme Lord was vicious, trying to attack her and everything! So, after that failed she came to us. She told Erebos that she had a young planet with very few settlements, and that she’d be happy to let you and the other ivierae immigrate there for protection. I think she also said something about wiping out violent criminals there in preparation, but… My memory is a bit fuzzy on that part.
It honestly amazes me how quickly you agreed to move without even meeting the goddess herself, I applaud your bravery. Your father has been throwing nonstop tantrums since you left, thinking you had gone soft by submitting yourself to divinity.
But I know you better than that, dear Cilialk. I could tell by the passion in your wonder-struck eyes that you have a plan for that planet.
I’ve come to gripes with the fact that you won’t tell me what said plan is because of our silly little quarrel, but I think you’ll come around to telling me when you’ve had enough time to cool yourself. And when you do, I’ll be waiting for you with open arms and the ever-present yearning for your games of domination.
To show you I mean everything in earnest, I’ll give you a warning. Watch your back around that pantheon that rules over Mirthae. Lady Merthicz reeks of something sinister. Not that that would deter you, would it? You do love your challenges. I think you’ll find your new neighbours to be quite something interesting.
Though, something’s telling me that you’re already starting to feel that pressure. This has to be the first time in, what, 100 years that we’ve talked? Are you afraid to ask Erebos about this? Your blood from the seal tasted quite worried. It even had me scared just to write you this letter back.
Please keep me updated,
Czono Vladdi
