Potions and Tea

Potions are a type of drug made for the intent of curing an ailment, made by cold brewing with purified water as the main ingredient, and mixed with organic items such as flowers, seeds, fruits, etc... Tea is a type of drug like potions, but stronger in side effects whilst also being weaker with the intended treatment. It's made by mixing boiling purified water with any kind of organic being like plants, rocks and minerals, and even people and animals. It's made with the intent of having your psychology altered for a temporary feeling of euphoria and/or adrenaline.   Potion and tea making are the easiest types of magic to utilise in terms of innate magical abilities, (even completely non-magic beings can create them) as the magic is drawn directly from plants, it just requires a lot of patience and knowledge about plant life as well as water purification methods. Because of this, humans are more drawn to them.   Although it's considered to be the easiest magic system to use, it requires a lot of knowledge and care. Potion making in particular used to be left for the rich to do until Highking Œnta started up programs that allowed for the poor to learn it, and was strengthened during Highking Gyala's rule. Because of these programs it also led to easier access to purified water for farming.   A large variety of potions and tea can be made for what effects they can do as each organic being and object has different properties. Effectiveness and desired outcomes for them depend on what's mixed in as well as the ratio of purified water to organic beings.

Manifestation

Appears as a liquid. Potions come in a variety of colours, usually more vibrant than tea. Tea tends to have very little differences, and is usually a neutral or dark colour.   When done correctly potions can be used to treat various ailments. Tea can as well, but also has various side effects similar to depressive drugs. When done wrong, they can turn to poison or even cause an overdose. All tea is consumed orally, whilst potions can either be consumed orally, absorbed through the skin, or soaking open wounds.   Drinking tea can give you side effects similar to depressant drugs like dizziness, fatigue, slurred speech, addiction and more. Potions don't have much side effects and are considered to be much safer. Fatigue, dilated pupils, and addiction if too much is drunk.
