Thamil (Thah-mill)
A celebration of the dead, and thanks for living their best life.
History
Back when Uvie was still a regular human, he used to go around the planet where battles of the Great Human-Ivierae War were fought at the last month of the year, and bury and make unmarked graves (as he didn't know anyone who fought) for everyone who died, regardless of the side. Although Fyayn wasn't a fan that he mixed grave sites with the enemy side, Merthicz didn't care and very much loved the work he did. She did so much so, she turned Uvie into the God of Death, and his first act was to create a holiday, Thamil, to celebrate those who had died.
Execution
There's no set way for someone to commemorate the dead, though most tend to visit the graves, and very few would go visit in person in said person went to heaven.
Components and tools
No specific parts are needed, but those who visit graves usually bring things like flowers, letters, clothes, or food. Whatever is left on the grave is actually transported by Uvie to the deceased.
Participants
Usually anyone who knows a deceased person. Sometimes a priest will visit the graves associated with their religion, or hold sermons.
Observance
It's celebrated on the last day of the last month (Volnik).
