The High Sage’s letter

Purpose

The letter is about the Great Seer’s plans to destroy the world kingdom. His current plot being to kill the Highking, and explains as such by mentioning the use of an orphan girl brainwashed into being a killing machine.
Orikeyu needed to confirm the plan with the orphanage that he’s sending the orphan to.

Clandestine. If the letter was read by the wrong person it could lead to execution.

Legal status

The letter is completely illegal, although technically legal in the settlement that High Sage Orikeyu rules over.

Historical Details

History

The Singyue Kalko is a cult known by few, their goal being to spread the knowledge of the truth about Mirthae. Their current leader, High Sage Orikeyu, believes that it’s time to start taking action to dismantle the false kingdom.

Public Reaction

The letter did eventually leak to the public. Most who wanted Highking Gyala dead were conflicted, to say the least. They didn’t want the kingdom toppled, but believed strongly that Gyala did not deserve to be Highking.
The common folk however, were outraged over this revelation, at the idea of grooming a little girl into murder and killing someone who's objectively done good for the world kingdom.

The High Sage’s letter

Dear Silile, I trust this letter finds you in the quiet hours of night, when the moon's light falls upon your humble haven for those without kin. Your work is commendable, your dedication unwavering. It is in this spirit of devotion that I reach out to you with a matter of the utmost importance. Singyue smiles upon you for your participation.
As you well know, the Highking's reign is built upon a foundation of lies, perpetuating a false view of the world that keeps our people in ignorance and subjugation. His doctrines distort the natural order, dismissing our sacred traditions and truths as mere superstition. This deceit must be overturned, for only then can we reclaim our rightful place and restore harmony to our land. The child's act will be the first strike against this web of falsehoods, heralding a new era of enlightenment and freedom.
You’ve heard of how the Highking wishes to adopt, yes? I have in my care an orphan child throughly initiated in the ways of Singyue, and wished to help however she may. I’m privy to Intel that says the Highking plans to visit your orphanage, and I wish to send her over to you to be adopted by him. Her innocence will be the perfect guise, enabling her to approach the Highking without suspicion. With your expertise, this child will become the instrument of our liberation, striking down the false ruler and ushering in a new era for our people.
I will arrange for the necessary resources to be provided to you. Discretion is paramount, and all communications regarding this matter must be destroyed after reading. We are on the cusp of a new dawn, one where justice prevails and our land is free from the shadow of tyranny.
May the spirits of our ancestors guide us in this righteous endeavor.
