Week 1
Area of focus
I’ve chosen the entirety of Fzalder, a country the size of a continent within the world kingdom of Mirthae. Despite its importance to the worldbuilding and to the plot of the novel I’m writing, I really haven’t developed much outside of some important characters and the capital of the country. My goal is to flesh out Fzalder more, establish a bit of the culture, as well as defining the provinces located within!
Plan;
The plan is to write multiple different articles, to total 2,500 words each week, with said articles being uploaded at the end of the week. Each week will focus on a specific topic related to Fzalder

First week: Ecology
Second week: Government

Week 2: Mini Meta
I don’t think I even wrote meta for the world as a whole LMAO, but hey! It just creates a fun challenge. :D
Scope
This will focus entirely on the continent of Fzalder, as well as the island to the South of it
Theme/Mood
I’m aspiring to create a mood of my idealistic fantasy setting; something warm and cozy, even with the looming threat of dystopian world government trying to stomp it out. You could say the theme would be about fighting injustice to create a true utopia. It’s inspired much by true queer liberation.
Drama
Although Fzalder was designated a safe haven for demons and ivierae to just exist, humans allied with their god Fyayn are trying to oppress them and ultimately wipe out their existence. Because of this, the people argue back and forth on the best ways to handle the threat, with more old school demons stating that they should adopt a very ruthless Darwinist approach, even if it means throwing “weaker” people of their own kind to the side and allowing them to suffer.
Week 3: Homepage
The homepage has a good start to it, but it’s barely been touched since I first created the Mirthae world on WA, and I’ll definitely be working to update it as WorldEmber approaches. The regular world meta definitely needs to be written first, as well as updating the pitch/intro as the setting as evolved a lot throughout the years. It might also be a good idea to add a call to action, as there really isn’t one.
Am important change definitely needs to be the layout of the homepage itself. It’s extremely basic due to lack of knowledge of pushing bbcode and css to its fullest extent. Another change will be to the thematic style. The basic forest style is very cute, but I have some ideas to push it further to match the darker tones of this fantasy setting!
