The Idiot Saint
The Idiot Saint Elena Markovna Donoskaya
Of all the figures in Looney history, few are as well-known and mythologized as Elena Donoskaya, the so-called Idiot Saint, who was instrumental in preventing the collapse of Port Frontier, and played a major role in dismantling the caste system the colony was established with.
Born and raised in Moscow at the dawn of the Primary Expansion, Elena, a civil engineer specializing in public transit, moved to Port Frontier 20 years after it was established on the wings of childhood dreams of being a cosmonaut, only to be famously disappointed by the state of the colony. Though she had gained a small amount of repute as a reliable smuggler, she first came to prominence during the Great Misfire, where she helmed the efforts of stabilizing the electrolysis systems, and later gained a measure of notoriety for her role in the Pipeline Riots that occurred 7 years afterwards.
It is not entirely clear how or when Donoskaya gained saint status. She certainly wasn't officially canonized, but somewhere around 20 years after her mysterious disappearance from Port Frontier, she had gained a small quasi-religious following, which would grow until she had become equal parts folk hero, mythological figure and saint. Worship of the Idiot Saint remains mostly confined to the moon, but has gained some traction in other parts of the system, particularly among Martials of Russian heritage and Belters, with whom her revolutionary inclinations tend to resonate.

Circumstances of Death
Though she is doubtlessly dead by now, no one knows what happened to her. She simply vanished from Port Frontier, an, aside from a few unsubstantiated rumors, was never seen or head from again.
