primordial script
The primordial script is an obscure written language used to create magical effects by defining four things:
- The effect
- Transformations on the effect, such as location, area or volume
- Energy source
- Conditionals if additional control is wanted, such as only being active when the sun is shining
These need to be written on four individual flat surfaces that are on the same object. Hexahedrons are used for small spells, while obelisks are very popular for larger objects. Due to the desire to be in control of magic the definitions can be very long and very complex, making large and complex magical effects need a large object to write the spell on. Engraving the script is generally more effective than painting it.
