Fayhill
As the only town that the smallfolk of the Whisper Woods allow outsiders to enter, Fayhill has become its unofficial capital. With that being said, only a few of the dwarven clans of the Torringrath range and a few tiefling families know its exact location - a combination of illusion magic and natural camouflage keeps it hidden from any other intruders.
Ritual Chambers
Beneath the roots of the largest tree in Fayhill is a ceremonial hall for the "black mages" amongst the gnomish population. However, the Chambers serve multiple purposes, functioning as a school of necromancy as well. Its theorized that some sort of ritual performed here is how the smallfolk of the Woods harvest blood amber - but no outsiders have ever been privy to this ritual, so the theory remains as simply a rumour.Demographics
Fayhill is made up of almost entirely forest gnomes and lightfoot halflings. Very rarely, they welcome an outsider that has proved themselves as an asset to their war against the wild elves, or a caravan of traders from the Scorched Fields or Torringrath Range.
In addition, many of the undead forces and helpers for the city shuffle around the base of the trees and in the nearby area.
Infrastructure
Most of Fayhill is elevated housing built around the stark white trees that make up the Whisper Woods. The walkways between areas are suspended from their branches, and everything is sized to the smallfolk that live there.
