They respect the traditions of their clans, tracing their ancestry back to the founding of their most ancient strongholds in the early post-Tyrant days, and they don't abandon those traditions lightly.

That being said, their easy access to gems has managed to broker a prosperous trade industry with both the Empire of Eska and the people of the Sprucethorn Forests.
