Setris

The Plague, Reaper

Even among his most loyal followers, the Plague is seen as uncaring almost to the point of cruelty. Though many beg him for protection against disease, he blesses only a very select few with the knowledge needed to provide cures to his many afflictions.

Description

Said to be a massive, heavily hunched figure cloaked in robes that he decorates with the names of those who have died to disease. His face is always obscured by a burial shroud, and he carries a crooked staff decorated with raven's feathers.

Personality

Completely detached from mortal matters, the Reaper is said to view everything through logic alone.

Worshippers

Any individuals that practice medicine or healing through mundane means, as well as clerics and grave keepers.
There is a group specifically dedicated to Setris and Affliction, who wander Mistral searching for innovations in medicine and offering healing to those in need. They call themselves the Anathema, and wear black or grey robes stitched with an overlapping pattern of Setris’ symbol & serpents in green thread.

Chosen - Affliction

Often represented as a stocky elven man, shorter than one would expect from an elf. The details of his face and posture also often depict him as older than the rest of the Chosen.
He was blessed with both Setris' knowledge of inflicting diseases, and how to cure them.
