Baronial Revolt 599 to 603TR

When King Iemald died without an heir, fifteen claimants waged a confused three-year chaotic conflict. This was a time of petty lords attempting to rise above their station, rebellions, bloody vendettas, starvation, and banditry.

Ultimately, the Haldan, Earl of Olokand, one of the few great lords who made no claim to the throne, was offered it. After accepting, he worked hard to restore peace and stability,  founding and currently ruling the House of Elendsa.
