Chronicle of Icken Haumager

Icken of the Dwarven house of Haumager was an eccentric Brewer, Inventor, and Alchemist.

He set up his underground Brewery initially to support the Dwarven garrison guarding at the mysterious Earthmaster Site of Telumar. When the Dwarves abandoned Telumar, he stayed on for several decades, supplying strong alcohol to the invading Lythian barbarians invaders.

Icken was involved with a range of obscure projects, growing special yeast and spices extracted from subterranean Fungi as well as trading with far-flung Dwarven cities through the Earthmaster Godstones at Telumar. However, his main interest was the dangerous species of giant insects known as the Ungor Guzzen (a.k.a the infamous Cave Fisher). He identified that the monster's blue blood is alcoholic and could be used to fortify his Beer as well as coming up with a range of other novel uses for the monster's other body parts.

His Journal, a series of seven remarkably corrosion-free copper plates with his notes scratched in Dwarven Runic Script. The last plate has the hastily recorded dying words of the Author.
