Ilfutin - The Bloodsucking Serpent
The Ilfutin, the four-eyed Bloodsucking Serpent, is a rare type of Ivashu that springs out of the ground, attempting to wrap its snake-like form around its victim and feast on its blood. Drinking blood boosts their metabolism, allowing them to think and act faster.
Also known as the False Serpent, the Ilfutin are cold-blooded ambush predators that usually dwell in forests, moors, and marshes. However, occasionally, they make their home in pasture and cultivated fields. They prepare for ambushes by digging and concealing themselves in small burrows or covering themselves with leaves and forest debris. Over winter, they hibernate in small dens or caves.
These Ivashu's favorite food is the fresh blood of small to medium-sized mammals, including humans.
