Andasin IV, the eldest son of Earl Ranald Milaka and the late Queen Mirelael, is a brilliant scholar and administrator.

Personal history

Andasin became King after the untimely death of his mother, Mirelael, in 707 at the age of 17.

In 713 the Thardic Republic mounted a brilliant surprise attack during the short-lived Kuseme War which Andasin was able to resolve diplomatically, albeit with the loss of some territory belonging to the troublesome Earl of Kuseme, whose incompetence provoked the war in the first place.

Since then, Andasin has ruled wisely and dealt with all political issues.

Andasin married the scholarly Dorthea Cassean in 724, who has a similar interest in intellectual persuits. They appear fond of each other but have not yet produced an heir.
