Sásalan Mountains

The Sásalan's are a mountain range in the great Azeryan Empire, dividing the Sásalan, Alam Gares, and Alam Loas Provinces.

Religious Significance

Worshipers of Agrik consider these mountains holy as it contain several active volcanoes and hot springs.

These mountains are also famous for the Sásalan Agrikian Monasteries. Over a hundred Temples, Monasteries, and Holy Shrines are scattered throughout the mountains. These fanatical worshipers are honed by centuries of conflict, martial and spiritual training. Many are considered heretical.

Geography

Located north of the Azeryan Drylands and the great Agrikan holy city of Lysara.

Natural Resources

Although rich in Copper, Iron and Silver the mountains are more famous for its precious Gemstones, Obsidian, Brimstone and Basalt.
