Surikal

The secret, ritual tongue of the Agrikan church.
Surikal is a deliberately complex and irregular language derived from the language spoken by the tribes in the volcanic plains of central Lythia. However there are numerous regional dialects which are influenced by local languages. Worshipers from different regions may find it difficult to understand each other.
The laity are taught enough to respond appropriately to the cants of priests and usually pick up a few words.

Writing System

Surikal has no written form, it uses local scripts. However Ayaran, the angular the script of High Azeryani language is most commonly used internationally.
