The Khuzan Relic's
The Dwarves occupied the Ulmerien Valley for thousands of years before the arrival of Humans settlers. They left behind dozens of small stone statues of grotesquely comic humanoid figures. These small statues are carved from the granite and many are badly worn with age, but still recognisable.
The purpose of these statues is unknown, some believing they were waymarkers for traders and miners. The statues have achieved mythological status among the common folk of the Kingdom of Chybisa who believe they bring luck or magical protection. They routinely make offerings of flowers, alcohol or minor trinkets in hope a blessing.
D&D 5E Rules
The Khuzan Relics have a faint magical aura. This may be the result of repeated prayers of the peasants who have honored the statues for many centuries, or the residue of magics of the dwarves, elves or fairy folk.
Offering acknowledgment to the relics, such as making an offering or rubbing the head of the statues, may improve a character's luck granting an Khuzan Boon.
Once a month a character can roll Roll d100 for each relic they interact with (maximum of 1 roll per Wisdom modifier +1).
Roll d100 | Khuzan Boon |
---|---|
01 | The Character can Reroll one Attack Roll or Saving Throw, keeping the second roll. |
02 to 05 | The Character can add +d4 to any single Attack Roll or Saving throw. |
06 to 15 | The Character can add +1 to any single Attack Roll or Saving throw. |
16 or higher | No benefit. |
The Khuzan Boon must be used with one month or is lost.
Some Khuzan Relics many have other special properties or have an association with the Fae.
I liked the article, especially the 5e stats. I noticed, a missing letter, when you get time, may want to add the h in Khuzan back in. ;)
Thanks, corrected.
