Gargun (Hârnic Orcs)

Hârn Orcs are evil, hateful, small, violent creatures created or imported by the Evil Wizard Lothrim the Foulspawner to found his ill-fated empire around 600 years ago.

The Gargun are divided into five subspecies.

Gargu-Araki – The nomadic small or streaked Orc who are masters of herblore.

Gargu-Kyani - The White Orc who sometimes ride wolves or large dogs and are the most civilised.

Gargu-Hyeka – The common or Brown Orc who are expert miners and reasonable weapon crafters.

Gargu-Viasal – The cannibalistic Red Orc.

Gargu-Khanu - The Great or Black Orc, the most aggressive and dangerous.

Each sub-species has their own languages, but all share the same sign language.

These brutes are a short-lived race with a reproductive system similar to insects. An orc, of which 99% are male, matures to adult from an egg within a year and will unlikely live past 25 years. Most die violently years before old age.

All colonies are ruled by a King, usually the tribes strongest warrior. The Queen is the only fertile female who grows into a huge, bloated, obese egg laying monster, protected by the tribe’s females or princesses. Garguns are hatched with an advanced racial memory which includes language, mining, fighting, and hunting skills.
