Dera Vinelle

Dera Vinelle is a well known journalist. She is an outgoing, friendly person with a nose for a good story. Growing up, Dera's parents were both educators. Even though she had a lot of friends, they were the most important thing in the world to her. She loved learning from them and reading old books. Despite this, Dera was also a social butterfly. She knew everyone in town, which also made her privy to most of the gossip. In her early teens she anonymously started a gossip board in her town. When her parents found out, they admonished her for publicizing people's private business. Dera stopped updating the board, but with her parent's encouragement, she started writing about the more significant events she found out about. Eventually, she moved out of her home town and got a job as a journalist in a nearby city. She began travelling around to different cities to write about their political situations. When she initially learned about Mythrite, Dera was uninterested. A boomtown in the middle of nowhere would never make an interesting story. But when she started hearing whispers of their new political situation, she didn't hesitate to pack her bags and head out to the town.
